Buddies Experiment Workshop

Buddies’ Experiments, founded in 2022 by Cc Marmaritsaki and Marina Sasli, is an inclusive methodology aimed at fostering artistic and human collaboration through movement and sound. The methodology is ever-evolving, focusing on creating unique communication through body, voice, and rhythm while integrating mathematical and physical concepts to create movements and rhythmic patterns.

The workshops on the 7–8 Sep 2024 invite participants of all experience levels and backgrounds to experiment, play, and connect in a nurturing environment. They aim to cultivate a space where curiosity is the only prerequisite, fostering a sense of enjoyment and discovery.

The performance (to be held at the Science in the City Performance Festival, 27–28 September 2024), based on the principles of Buddies’ Experiments research, presents the elements of their methodology through a multi-layered narrative that uses humour to comment on current topics.
