Call for Volunteers: Join the Changemakers Team!
Science in the City (SitC) is proud to be Malta’s largest national science and arts festival, captivating audiences with engaging events for over a decade. Our mission is to stimulate minds, ignite curiosity, and inspire creativity through the power of science and the arts. This September, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming festival, which will revolve around the theme of ‘Changemakers’!
Who is a Changemaker?
Changemakers are the heart and soul of our festival – passionate individuals who are enthusiastic, dedicated, and helpful. If you have a fascination for event and festival management, and an interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), we would love to have you on board! Most importantly, you should be available during the festival on the 29th and 30th of September.
What will Changemakers do?
As a Changemaker, you will play a crucial role in bringing the festival to life. This year, we have even more opportunities for you to make a difference! You can get involved in various tasks, such as:
- EVALUATION: Help us assess the impact of our events and ensure that they continue to be successful in the future
- PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY: Capture the excitement and magic of the festival, preserving cherished memories for all attendees.
- VISITOR MANAGEMENT: Welcome and guide visitors, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the festival.
- SCIENTIST SUPPORT: Assist our brilliant scientists in organizing and conducting their captivating demonstrations and exhibits.
There's a role and task suitable for everybody!
If you have your own creative ideas or wish to contribute in a unique way, we are more than open to your suggestions.
