Oddly enough, bilingualism in Malta is a controversial matter. Does it help us, or is it just annoyingly confusing? The film Orrajt explores bilingualism. Film director Jeremy Vella uses George, the main character, who is both an English and Maltese speaker, to highlight how bilingualism is linked to the inner workings of the human mind. University language experts will hold a discussion with the audience after the screening.
