About this Event
Welcome one and all to Day 3 of Science in the City 2020, Malta’s science and arts festival. The time has come for you to join us for the third and final day of our jam packed 3-day Live Virtual Festival, filled with lots of amazing and interesting content! Below are the shows you can look out for on Sunday.
Throughout the day we have lots of fun interactive games and activities for for the whole family to enjoy, right from the comfort of your home. Look out for the Virtual Escape Room, Microscopic Mysteries, Guess What Quiz Show and a unique activity in ICT Researchers’ Den, you might even find yourself making an offer!
If you are interested in the natural world and the environment then make sure you look out for the great activities we have in 500 Days in the Life of a Shark and Birds of a Feather by SharkLab and BirdLife Malta. We also have another brilliant performance in Like Now and Then highlighting the environment in Malta.
We will have the final showing of the UK performing arts piece Feedback Loops, inspired by research using wearable devices to help monitor and track depression, while the Be the Change play is tackling the issue of water conservation in Malta, and a puppet show by the Energy and Water Agency called Mind Your Energy!
We will be hosting an immersive storytelling session in A European Story and will quieten things down for children with a special activity with the Richmond Foundation in Mindfulness for Children
We will have a science show by Esplora in The Superhero in You and a fascinating look at echolocation through the medium of jazz in Bats Do Jazz. Finish your evening by celebrating and looking back at what has truly been a one of a kind festival in the Grand Finale of Science in the City!
