Have you ever heard of peltier cooling? It’s an innovative way of cooling electronic devices to temperatures as low as -60°C by means of the thermo-electric effect. It opens up a world of possibilities for many applications such as high speed cameras, vaccine transporter systems, high performance microscopes as well as satellites and avionics. A team from the Electronics Systems Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering will showcase all the “cool” stuff peltier systems can achieve.
